"If left to luck, your chances of having a really satisfying experience living abroad would be about one in seven"

In order to be successful in an overseas assignment, an expatriate needs information
about the target country for survival and must also learn to cross cultures . This
does not mean becoming a local but it does mean trying to see the world the way the
locals do, and trying to imagine how they see you. Our training will provide the
skills necessary in order to do just this.
In our workshops, the trainee will:
- understand his/her own cultural background and values and how these are likely to affect interaction with people in the target country
- develop intercultural awareness and cross-cultural sensitivity
- learn how to consider daily rituals and unquestioned assumptions in a new lightrecognise signs of culture shock and develop a plan for managing the transition
- receive specific information relating to the target country and community
- acquire knowledge of the target culture which will enable effective transition and interaction with new contacts
Let us find out what your particular needs are and plan a training session for you. It might save you the huge and well documented costs to
individuals and organisations which result from cross-cultural failure at a later date.
